Microsoft resigns from OpenGL board

I wonder in a few years if OpenGL will be left out of Windows. They say that they will continue to support OpenGL and stuff. But, they have DirectX which, wow, only works with Windows!

"Even though Microsoft will be focusing more energy on evolving Windows graphics, Microsoft sees OpenGL as an important component of the Windows Platform today and in the future."
