Unique Design Launches Capta, a Tripod Mount, Stand and Cable Management Hybrid for Smartphones
Capta is a hybrid accessory for smartphones that combines a tripod mount, phone stand and cable management into one simple, elegant and functional device.

Capta is a hybrid accessory that combines a tripod mount, phone stand and cable management into one simple, elegant and functional device. Capta is made from airplane grade aluminum as the base/cover and a proprietary adhesive pad. This proprietary pad allows Capta to hold smartphones securely at any angle for extended periods of time and leaves no residue. The design also incorporates a cable groove for cable management and a threaded hole for attachment to camera accessories such as a tripod.
Bojan Smiljanic and Adewale Adelusi-Adeluyi are the designers behind Capta who work under the moniker of Unique Design (UD). They strive to create simple functional products. According to Smiljanic, "With the form factor and technology of smartphones always changing we designed Capta to be the hybrid accessory that could keep up with those changes. For example for iPhone users regardless of generation, Capta replaces the iPhone tripod mount, iPhone stand and iPhone cable management with one simple device.
