Designing and manufacturing products for LED technology

VERO BEACH, Fla., Oct. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- KLUS Company announced this week that it has introduced a new product - the LED extrusion - into the U.S. marketplace. This state-of-the-art product maximizes the applications and uses available for LED light strips.

"Mounting and using raw LED strips has repeatedly proven to be a design challenge for interior design professionals, carpenters and architects," says Klus, founder of KLUS Company. "We now offer a simple, secure and elegant way to mount these light strips - the LED extrusion - which acts as the connector between the light source and the application area and provides a stylish and finished look."

Ultimately, the LED extrusion, also known as an LED profile or LED aluminum channel eliminates obstacles related to LED light strip mounting. LED profiles standardize the mounting techniques of the LED ribbon light and make it possible to use this type of lighting just about anywhere.

KLUS Company's LED extrusions possess a contemporary feel, clean design and exceptional quality. LED extrusions are available in an array of shapes and sizes, making them suitable for multiple applications in commercial and residential use. For example, LED extrusions can be custom designed to be used with corner shelving; on glass elements; for architectural accent lighting; in parking lots; on floors, steps and stair railings; in ceilings; and on tiles and pavement.

LED profiles provide customers with more choices and when an aluminum channel is matched with an LED light strip, the types of possible lighting design choices are endless.  They are easy to install, compact, and waterproof, opening up the window for an array of new and exciting design-industry possibilities.

"In our opinion, the LEDs are one of the most exciting new technologies to be introduced into the market in a long time. They are highly energy efficient and have a long life span. Their lighting capabilities and compact size exponentially expands design possibilities for integrating lighting fixtures with just about any interior or exterior design environment and accompanying furnishings," adds Klus.

In fact, KLUS has put their products to the test and built the first "House without a Bulb" in Warsaw, Poland. This model home is one of the first such buildings in the world. Its interior and outdoor are lit entirely with LEDs. The house exhibits more than 50 different fully-functional LED technology applications and illuminates various areas of the home such as the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, driveway, work stations, outdoor landscaping and more.
