iGLASS Networks Releases New Graphical User Interface for Mobile Users

CARY, N.C., Oct. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Internet isn't the only thing on the rise with mobile users; now you can check on your network or website's status all from the comfort of your mobile device.

This morning, iGLASS Networks, a network monitoring services provider, released a new user interface that enhances a mobile user's experience, making it easier for them to ensure their businesses' networks are operating properly.

By 2015, there will be an estimated 2.7 billion mobile Internet users, making accessing the Internet wirelessly via a mobile device more popular than from a wired Ethernet connection, according to the market research firm IDC in a recent PCMag article. The ability to access other critical information about your business via your mobile phone is becoming increasingly important.

To account for this rise in mobile Internet usage, iGLASS Networks' new graphical user interface (GUI) caters to users of smartphones, tablets or other handheld mobile devices, with auto-sizing columns and "bubble up" features. This will minimize the number or clicks or taps to access critical information about a customer's networks.

Additional enhancements include the introduction of "multi-graphs," which provide on-the-fly visibility into multiple data metrics without the need to select the graphs individually, collapsible data sections and a dynamic "Actions" link.
