March Networks Doubles IP Video Capabilities in Best-Selling Hybrid Recording Platforms

OTTAWA, Sept. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - March Networks(®) (TSX: MN), a global provider of intelligent IP video solutions, is
proud to introduce five new products that make it easier, faster and
more cost-effective for customers to increase IP video surveillance
capabilities across their operations. The products include new
additions to the company's leading hybrid video recording platforms -
recognized earlier this year as the best-selling enterprise DVRs in the Americas*. They also include new high-definition (HD) IP cameras, and a
cloud-based mobile application designed to solve many of the issues
inherent in current mobile video offerings, and integrate seamlessly
into standard IT environments.

The March Networks 4332C and 4324C Hybrid Network Video Recorders (NVRs) double the IP video capacity of the company's 4000 C Series product line, enabling customers to expand IP camera coverage cost-effectively using
existing surveillance infrastructure. The NVRs accommodate up to 16 IP
cameras or Edge encoders, and maintain the same reliability and
centralized video management capability proven in more than 450 banks
and one of the world's largest DVR installations.

Compatible with both March Networks' Command((TM)) and Visual Intelligence software, the 4332C and 4324C systems also deliver enhanced live monitoring and
investigation in a single software interface. Additional features
include expanded third-party IP camera and access control integrations,
and optional embedded video analytics. The new NVRs share the same
innovative docking station architecture (watch the video) that makes all March Networks 4000 C Series hybrid recorders easy to
install and maintain.

March Networks' new MegaPX 5 MP and MegaPX WDR enhance the company's line of HD IP video cameras. These fixed IP cameras combine exceptional image quality with
real-time H.264 video compression for optimal bandwidth and storage
efficiency. The MegaPX 5 MP's powerful digital zoom and ultra-wide
field-of-view make it ideal for customers requiring precise image
detail and extensive coverage. The MegaPX WDR ensures clear image
capture in challenging lighting conditions - such as a retail bank
branch where large windows can create silhouettes - through its
combination of three megapixel resolution and wide dynamic range. Both
cameras work seamlessly with the company's existing and new NVRs, as
well as in a March Networks' Command all-IP video environment. They are
also ONVIF-compliant for flexible, third-party integration.

March Networks Command Mobile is a web-based mobile application that installs in minutes to provide
customers with a view into their business from any location, at any
time using the hand-held devices they already own. The software works
with any mobile device, including iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android
devices. Developed to eliminate the complexities and extra costs found
with competitive mobile video applications, Command Mobile runs
reliably and securely over existing IT networks without requiring
additional software installations, specific configurations, network
policies or dedicated hardware. Video is encrypted and protected
through authentication, while virtualized servers ensure uninterrupted
service. Customers can choose how many video channels they need to
access, making Command Mobile an attractive application for businesses
with a few or a few thousand locations.

"These new products allow organizations to optimize their IP video
capabilities, while maintaining the reliability, scalability and
exceptional video management our customers have come to expect from
March Networks," said Net Payne, Chief Marketing Officer, March
Networks. "We are excited about expanding our video portfolio with
these innovative products, which serve as a strong foundation for our
advanced software applications and analytics that bring business value
to our customers worldwide."

March Networks will demonstrate its complete IP video solutions
portfolio in Booth 569 at the 57(th) annual ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits, September 19-21, at the
Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Visit http://www.marchnetworks.com/asis to learn more.
