McGraw-Hill Education is First to Provide Universal Access to Its Digital Content and Tools Directly From Any Campus Portal

McGraw-Hill Campus, a revolutionary new service, provides faculty with single sign-on access to all of McGraw-Hill's educational materials right from an institution's LMS

NEW YORK, July 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- McGraw-Hill Higher Education announced the launch of McGraw-Hill Campus (http://www.mhcampus.com), the first-of-its-kind institutional service providing faculty with true single sign-on access to all of McGraw-Hill's course content, digital tools and other high quality learning resources from any Learning Management System (LMS).  This innovative offering allows for secure and deep integration enabling seamless access for faculty and students to any of McGraw-Hill's course solutions such as McGraw-Hill Connect® (all-digital teaching and learning platform), McGraw-Hill Create(TM) (state-of-the-art custom-publishing platform), McGraw-Hill LearnSmart(TM) (online adaptive study tool) or Tegrity® (a fully searchable lecture capture service).

McGraw-Hill Campus includes access to McGraw-Hill's entire content library, including eBooks, assessment tools, presentation slides and multimedia content, among other resources, providing faculty open, unlimited access to prepare for class, create tests/quizzes, develop lecture material, integrate interactive content, and more.  Access is provided regardless of whether instructors are using McGraw-Hill textbooks. More than 100 higher education institutions will be using McGraw-Hill Campus this fall. The hundreds of thousands of instructors and students at these colleges and universities will experience single sign-on access to McGraw-Hill's digital learning content and tools.

"More than a year ago, we were the first education company to fully integrate with Blackboard and led the way in establishing easy access to critical digital learning materials and tools that faculty and students use on a daily basis," said Brian Kibby, president, McGraw-Hill Higher Education. "Pioneering the initial integration was the first step in our overall plan to support institutions as the learning management landscape continues to shift.  We've seen overwhelming demand for such access by institutions using a variety of other platforms, and are pleased to offer the next level of integration - a universal solution for any institution's LMS."

Institutions can easily connect McGraw-Hill Campus with their existing technology infrastructure, with seamless integration for Active Directory, Angel, Blackboard, Desire2Learn, eCollege, LDAP, Moodle, Sakai, Shibboleth, WebCT, and more, providing instructors with true single sign-on, one-click access to McGraw-Hill's high-quality content and tools from any place within their institution's environment - including the LMS they're using.

"'We're always looking for innovative ways to provide valuable information to our faculty and students. McGraw-Hill Campus goes beyond our expectations, not only offering unlimited access to the broad range of content and learning materials McGraw-Hill produces, but also integrating directly into our existing infrastructure, allowing faculty to instantly access the content from within a system they are already comfortable with, and are already using," said J. Brice Bible, CIO at Ohio University.

McGraw-Hill Education will host a webinar with Campus Technology to officially launch McGraw-Hill Campus on July 21 at 11am PDT / 2pm EDT.  Leaders from Ohio University, Indiana State University and Mt. Wachusett Community College will discuss their goals and challenges around digital resources and why they selected McGraw-Hill Campus for their institutions.  Attendees will get a hands-on demonstration of McGraw-Hill Campus and the opportunity to engage with the panelists and ask questions about available content, integration details and ease of access.
