New LeapPad Sells Out In First Two Weeks

LeapFrog's New $99 Tablet for Kids Expected to Be One of the Hottest Products of the Holiday Season - Even Santa May Be Left Empty-Handed

EMERYVILLE, Calif., July 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:LF), the leader in educational entertainment, today announced that the new LeapPad(TM) has sold out of pre-sale units in the first two weeks in the U.S. Unveiled in late June, LeapPad became available for pre-sale on major retailer websites on June 29th. Additional quantities of the LeapPad will be available at major retailers in late August.

LeapPad will be at MSRP at $99.99 USD.  Game cartridges will be at MSRP $24.99 USD and downloadable apps at MSRP $5.00 USD and up.
