Jefferson County Hospital Looks to Custom Software Systems for Automation Upgrade
Hospital chooses enterprise-wide solutions including ChartSmart emr®
NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Jefferson County Hospital has selected the solutions of Custom Software Systems, including document management, lab modules and ChartSmart Electronic Medical Records, as the Fayette, Mississippi facility launches an ambitious automation upgrade promising a swift return on investment while providing significant improvements to the hospital's quality of care.

The hospital is also embarking on a major physical expansion; both endeavors will be paid for by cash reserves, with much of the technology investment to be returned quickly since ChartSmart has been certified as 2011/2012 compliant by Drummond Group, an ONC-ATCB, and will thus allow the hospital to meet meaningful use guidelines to qualify for federal stimulus funds.*
