Skycasters Showcases Emergency Response Satellite Internet at the 30th Annual SATELLITE 2011 Conference
AKRON, Ohio, March 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Skycasters, an industry leader in broadband satellite Internet solutions, will be exhibiting at the 30th Annual SATELLITE 2011 Conference at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center March 15 - 17, 2011. While showcasing their one-of-a-kind disaster response mobile satellite Internet trailer, the satellite Internet company will also hold a Facebook and Twitter sweepstakes open to both conference attendees as well as all Facebook and Twitter users.
Participants will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes by "Liking" Skycasters on Facebook and/or "Following" Skycasters on Twitter. Skycasters will be giving away an Apple TV and a Kindle to the Facebook and Twitter contest winners, respectively. The winner will be randomly selected and announced on the social media sites March 31, 2011 at 4pm EDT.
Smartphone users who download a QR code reader phone application can enter the contest when visiting the Skycasters booth simply by taking a picture of the QR codes featured at the Skycasters booth. The Smartphone browser will take participants directly to the contest entry page.
In addition to participating in their sweepstakes, the Skycasters team invites attendees to participate in their discussion on the necessity of mobile satellite Internet in the wake of natural disasters and emergencies. Questions and answers discussed throughout the SATELLITE 2011 Conference and Exhibition will be featured live on the Skycasters Satellite Internet Blog and throughout top social media networks.
