The Magellan Premium Car Kit is compatible with the iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4 and the iPod Touch models 2G, 3G and 4G, providing drivers with an innovative, hands free vehicle mount solution. The Magellan Premium Car Kit includes a powerful, built-in GPS receiver that provides faster and more accurate location information to the driver's Apple iPhone and enables an iPod Touch to be used as an in-vehicle GPS device.
The Premium Car Kit works with virtually any vehicle navigation app, including the popular Magellan RoadMate app for iPhone. It features an amplified speaker for crystal clear directions and enhanced Bluetooth hands-free calling, a built-in noise canceling microphone for full duplex speakerphone operation, and an auxiliary audio output for connection to a car stereo.
The adjustable mount securely rotates iPhone to either portrait or landscape mode for optimal positioning and widescreen route display and accommodates most hard-shell cases or silicon skins.
