Plixi Powered by Lockerz Launches for Android
SEATTLE, Feb. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockerz, a social commerce company with nearly 18 million members worldwide, today announced the debut of its first mobile experience, giving members more opportunities to be rewarded for what they love to do online. In parallel, Plixi (soon to be Lockerz Photos), launched its first application for Android.

Members can now log into the site, view messages in the Lockerz "Hallway," and redeem their PTZ® (Points) for merchandise using smartphones. Additionally, non-members can join the Lockerz community, anytime, anywhere. Because Lockerz Redemptions are available within a brief time period only, it is particularly important for this activity to be available via smartphone. Each Redemption has three phases: "Gallery" shows photos of the merchandise that Lockerz members have won, including electronics, apparel and accessories, movies, video games and more. "Catalog" enables members to preview the upcoming Redemption items, display their individual PTZ balance and required PTZ for each featured item. "Live" tells members that the Redemption has begun.
Plixi Powered by Lockerz for Android
The Plixi Powered by Lockerz Android application is designed to optimize the photo sharing experience for social networks. The new application enables customers to quickly and easily upload photos from their Android mobile devices. Plixi can also be selected from the native "Share" feature on Android to upload photos. Uploaded photos can be shared in real time on virtually all major social networks simultaneously, including Lockerz in the coming weeks.
