ControlCircle Launches Max2Go Tool for iPhone(R) to Manage the Datacentre on the go

LONDON, February 10, 2011/PRNewswire/ --

    - Mobile App for Management of Global Datacentre Infrastructure
to Debut at MWC 2011, Barcelona

ControlCircle, the leading datacentre and managed services
provider, today announced the debut of its Max2Go, a mobile tool for managing
a company's global datacentre operations on the iPhone(R) mobile phone at MWC
Barcelona 2011. The mobile device application provides real-time datacentre
management information and the means to provision IT services within the
datacentre from an iPhone.

Damian Milkins, CEO ControlCircle said, "Reporting technology
status information and the provisioning of IT services on the fly is a
prerequisite for CIOs, CTOs and any other professional tasked with the
management and handling of mission-critical systems. With the explosion of
iPhones in the workplace it was natural to begin the development of a Max2Go
tool onto this popular platform, so we're very excited about this release
which is in time for MWC Barcelona 2011. Max2Go for the iPhone is based on
the same easy-to-use GUI used in the Blackberry release but with improved
information views and the power to manage the most important aspects of your
global datacentre infrastructure."

The mobile application connects directly into ControlCircle's own
management portal capturing a real-time snapshot of a company's datacentre
infrastructure. From Max2Go's touch screen interface you can oversee the
power, connectivity, critical impact, critical patch, warranty alerts and the
uptime status of servers and applications within the datacentre. To make
changes to that IT infrastructure, an authorised user simply 'clicks' into
the menu to add servers, on-demand services or storage. Critical system
monitoring including the issuing of warranty alerts and the managing of
ticketing requests to ControlCircle can all be executed from the application.

In addition, the datacentre infrastructure is co-supervised by
ControlCircle's 24x7 Network Operations Team.

"It's all about mobility and giving optimal control to the user,"
continued Milkins. "If an organisation suffered a prolonged DDoS assault to
its systems Max2Go is able to present information to you wherever you happen
to be allowing you to act on any fast-moving or developing situation. To
invoke a DDoS service that may need to reroute server traffic or switch over
network facilities comes at a significant financial cost if it meant a
website needed to be closed down temporarily. The Max2Go tool enables you to
get information in front of the right people to make that critical decision
bringing a new dimension to global datacentre management."

Max2Go for the iPhone will soon be available for free through the Apple
Apps Store .
