TED's New Chapter in Spreading Ideas: TEDBooks

Debuts short, absorbing digital books designed to communicate a single idea

NEW YORK, Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --TED, the nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, today launches TEDBooks, an imprint of short nonfiction works designed for digital distribution.  Shorter than traditional books, TEDBooks run 10,000-20,000 words each, long enough to explain a powerful idea, but short enough to be read in a single sitting.
