Naylor Announces Alliance with Aequor Technologies as Digital Growth Accelerates

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Jan. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Naylor, LLC, the leading media and events partner for trade associations in the U.S. and Canada announced today a strategic relationship with Aequor Technologies, Inc., a leading global media services company based in Iselin, New Jersey.  Under terms of the relationship, Aequor will serve as a vendor providing Naylor with new digital media delivery, graphic design and operations technology, as well as take over responsibility for Naylor's Winnipeg-based Creative Design and Printing Operations.

Naylor works currently with over 500 associations and employs 400 in offices in Gainesville, Winnipeg, Atlanta and Fairfax, Virginia.  Naylor annually produces over 1,000 magazines and directories, more than 400 digital media projects and 17 trade shows--all in partnership with U.S. and Canadian trade associations that serve 80+ industries.  The growth of Naylor's digital media and event business has been significant in the last few years, as the company has introduced new digital products to its expanding base of North American associations.

Over the past five years, Naylor has increased its base of association customers from 350 to 550. The company opened new offices in Atlanta, Georgia in 2006, and acquired Fairfax, Virginia-based Convention Management Group in 2008. Over 35% of Naylor's association projects are now delivered in digital form, up from 3% in 2006. Naylor's offerings now include association-related events, periodicals, directories, e-magazines, online directories and buyer's guides, email newsletters, wire services, online search, and social networking tools delivered to desktops, tablets, and smart phones.

Naylor will continue to house all of its corporate back office operations in Winnipeg, including 75 employees in Accounting, Finance, IT and digital media support, Sales and Sales Support, and Human Resources.  Aequor will create project management positions in Naylor's Winnipeg office to work with Naylor management and to coordinate with Aequor's facilities. 

Aequor will also work with Naylor management to maintain Naylor's ISO 9001 certification, which it has held for since 2004.
