Full HD 3D, VIERA Connect(TM), and LCD-LED HDTVs Highlight Panasonic's 2011 VIERA LCD Model Line-Up

Panasonic Continues Its Commitment to Enhance and Improve Its State-of-the-Art VIERA LCD HDTVs

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic, the industry and technology leader in High Definition televisions, introduced the 2011 line-up of LCD and LCD-LED HDTVs at the Consumer Electronics Show, confirming Panasonic's commitment to provide the highest quality home entertainment experience and viewing options to the consumer. The 2011 series features the inclusion of Full HD 3D television to select Panasonic LCD-LED models (see separate Full HD 3D press release), IPS Alpha panels, the introduction of VIERA Connect to select models, fast motion refresh rates, Game Mode, wide viewing angles, and a reduction in power consumption.

The 2011 LCD and LCD-LED line-up benefits from the addition of the IPS Alpha Panel (In Plane Switching) technology.
