Icron Introduces ExtremeLink 4500 KVM Extender at 2011 Consumer Electronics' Show

Rose Electronics First to Offer Icron's ExtremeLink 4500 keyboard,
video, mouse (KVM) Extender, Supporting DVI Video, Audio, and USB 2.0
over LAN

BURNABY, BC and LAS VEGAS, NV, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ - Icron Technologies (TSX
Venture: IT), providers of high performance video and USB extension
solutions, today made available its ExtremeLink(TM) 4500 KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) extender to OEMs in North and South
America, Europe and Asia for remote desktop applications in the
industrial automation, medical imaging, pro-audio/visual, digital
signage and small business markets. Rose Electronics is the first OEM
partner to begin shipping the ExtremeLink(TM) 4500 and is introducing it into the market under their CrystalView(TM)

The ExtremeLink(TM) 4500 KVM extender uses a standard LAN or dedicated Cat 5 cable to
connect displays and USB peripherals to computers in remote locations,
resulting in increased user capabilities, better security control, and
easier maintenance and configuration. The ExtremeLink(TM) 4500 delivers full PC extension including high definition video,
(1680x1050 or WSXGA resolution), stereo audio, and full 480Mbps USB 2.0
support. Packaged in a small 7" x 5" form factor, the ExtremeLink(TM) 4500 supports all USB 2.0 device types including keyboard, mouse,
flash drive, touchscreen, and game controllers. The ExtremeLink(TM) 4500 also supports Isochronous USB devices such as USB webcams,
speakers, and microphones.
