Revision3 Announces Partnership with The Onion's A.V. Club

LAUNCHES VIDEO VERSION OF 'A.V. TALK', TO BRING THE SMARTEST MOVIE AND TELEVISION REVIEWS TO ITS NETWORK LINE-UP

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Revision3, the leading Internet Television network, today announced a partnership with The Onion's A.V. Club (avclub.com) to bring A.V. Talk to its network of more than 20 programs.  The new video show, already a very popular audio podcast, is hosted by the Editors of The A.V. Club and offers weekly, in-depth discussions about movies, television, music, and more.

Originally launched in print in 1995, and now with nearly two million monthly visitors online worldwide, The A.V. Club has cemented itself as an authority on all things audio/visual.  A.V. Talk, the audio podcast, launched in 2009, and has quickly become a must-listen before deciding on what pop-culture pieces are worth the time and money.

With its new video format, each episode of A.V. Talk will feature a rotating group of A.V. Club editors, including Josh Modell, Keith Phipps, Scott Tobias, Nathan Rabin, Tasha Robinson, and others.

This week's episode, launched today, will be part one of a "Best Movies Of 2010" round-up.  Part two will air next Wednesday, December 29th.  Starting in January, new episodes will air every Friday and will run 12-15 minutes, on average.

"We're really excited to take A.V. Talk to the next level as a video series," said Ryan Vance, vice president of programming and production, Revision3.  "The team at the A.V. Club have established themselves as the epicenter of smart and credible film and TV reviews - turning the cameras on them may expose their secret identities, but it also exposes their genius...and dazzlingly good looks."

"Expanding A.V. Talk into the visual world makes perfect sense," said Josh Modell, general manager of The A.V. Club.  "With the help of Revision3, we'll be able to show our readers as well as tell them about the latest in pop culture.  And when you combine Rev3's army of nerds with our army of nerds, you've got an unstoppable force!"
