NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Cameo Stars, the world's first and only application enabling celebrities to make virtual appearances in the everyday lives of fans via their social networking pages and mobile devices launched their holiday Cameo collection. These fun virtual greetings are sent by consumers to their friends' Facebook pages, where the celebrities come to life and wish them a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or Happy Holidays, in high-definition with no background or borders.
Holiday Cameos can be sent on Facebook for $1 each using Facebook Credits, the virtual currency that users easily obtain on Facebook with a credit card, PayPal, or other payment methods.
In addition to the holiday Cameos that can be sent as the perfect last-minute gift for friends and family, Cameo Stars created the "Cameo Stars 4 Causes" holiday initiative. Throughout the month of December, Cameo Stars is donating 20% of proceeds from the holiday-themed "Cameos" from some of today's biggest personalities, musicians, and superstar athletes including Kim Kardashian,Carmen Electra, Tony Romo and Reggie Bush to each celebrity's charity of choice.
