Interos Solutions President Jennifer Bisceglie Wins ACT-IAC Cybersecurity Vice Chair Seat

Also Participated on Organization's ELC "Securing the Supply Chain" Panel

MCLEAN, Va., Dec. 10, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Jennifer Bisceglie, President, Interos Solutions, Inc., a supply chain process and commercial technology optimization company with a core focus on supply chain risk management, has been appointed the 2011 Vice Chair, American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council's (ACT-IAC) Cybersecurity Shared Interest Group (SIG). In October, she participated in the organization's 2010 Executive Leadership conference (ELC), whose main audience is the civilian sector of federal agencies. A first-year member, Interos was the only small business Cyber panel speaker.

ACT-IAC's Cybersecurity SIG provides opportunities for the industry and federal government to work together to identify and overcome obstacles to help secure the cyberspace and critical infrastructure on which the nation depends.  Members tackle these challenges through informative programs, focused working groups, and whitepapers emphasizing the adoption of standards, best practices and solutions.

At the ELC, she presented "Aspects of Supply Chain Security," underscoring the importance of four specific areas: defining the problem; creating a culture shift in thinking; weighing offense/defense or risk assurance/risk management positions; and addressing the framework.

"This SIG appointment and the conference serve to further the discussion on supply chain risk management and how to best handle risks within our enterprises," said Jennifer Bisceglie, President, Interos Solutions, Inc. "I was very happy to see ACT-IAC take a thought leadership role on this topic. The timing is right for this level of discussion, focus and collaboration."

ELC brings government and industry leaders together to discuss how to best leverage the government's accountability and transparency tools to enhance collaboration, accelerate innovation and engage citizens in delivering results efficiently. The conference addresses existing capability gaps and considers methods for sustaining continuous government transformation.
