Cloud.cm Has Plans to Build First Prototype Internet-Based Computer

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Cloud.cm, an evolutionary web-based computing company with offices in Los Angeles, announced today that its team of computer engineers are planning to develop the first prototype laptop that works exclusively on the world-wide web.

"It works on a web-based application that never crashes, has no spyware, no piracy, one platform only, no special software needed and can be used through all web-enabled devices to share documents, music, photographs date storage and emails from anywhere around the world and is stored in a public cloud," said Sean McCoy, CEO of Cloud.cm. "This internet laptop is evolutionary and will change the way computing works."

The brainchild of Sean McCoy, a senior in the prestigious Grief Center for Entrepreneurial Studies in the top-ranked Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, started Cloud.cm in 2009 and has since recruited a global team of computer engineers from China, India and Taiwan where they have registered two pending patents with the U.S. Patent Office.
