UMDNJ Launches Online PANCE and PANRE Review Course Hosted on myCME.com

PISCATAWAY, N.J., Nov. 30, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The UMDNJ Physician Assistant (PA) Program has launched an online PANCE/PANRE review course to help PAs prepare for their certification exams. The course is approved for up to 27.25 hours of Category I CME credit by the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA)

The course is a series of web casts hosted on myCME.com, one of UMDNJ's medical education partners. The myCME.com team provided the production support to capture the content from UMDNJ's live review course which is held annually in June. Each lecture has been carefully planned in the following ways:

--  All topics on the NCCPA examination blueprint are covered
--  Post-test exam questions encourage peak performance on the PANCE/PANRE
--  Experienced educators present material designed to achieve high pass
        rates and exceptional exam scores.

"It has always been our goal to provide physician assistants with a comprehensive review course that is exceptional in quality and reasonable in price," said Matthew McQuillan, MS, PA-C, Assistant Director of the UMDNJ PA Program.  "Partnering with myCME.com, a leader in medical education, allows us to bring our review course to all physician assistants, something we can't do with our live course alone."

Dik Barsamian, the Executive Vice President of Haymarket Medical Education, myCME.com's parent company concurred.  "Bringing UMDNJ's excellent review course to PAs around the U.S. was a great opportunity for us to fulfill our mission of partnering with leading academic institutions and expert clinicians to show how the latest medical advances can be used in day-to-day practice," he said.

The entire review course is available for $275 or individual modules can be purchased for $75 each. Each module is designed to cover specific content areas as follows:
