Flightpath Launches ShopSocial 2010 YouTube Channel for Holiday Season

Savvy Social Shoppers Sound off About Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare & eCoupons

NEW YORK, Nov. 29, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Flightpath, an NYC-based digital marketing agency, launches a YouTube ShopSocial 2010 channel and microsite, http://www.ShopSocial2010.com, on November 29, 2010, to track this year's social shopping and social media trends during the holiday season.  The channel serves up insider information on shopping plans that includes various promotions via Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, and other eCoupon sites. 

ShopSocial 2010 launches with several interviews featuring peer-recognized social shoppers talking candidly about their behaviors and preferences.  Flightpath selected interviewees for their unique combination of shopping and social media prowess.  "We're seeing a new world order of consumers, a group of tech-savvy, social shopping mavens that are really teaching us about new media," Flightpath President, Jon Fox, stated about the campaign.  Additional interview videos will be released throughout the season. 

In addition to interviews with select social shoppers, ShopSocial 2010 asks other shopping devotees to share videos of their own.  "The idea is to start a real conversation," Fox said, "so we can learn who these savvy shoppers really are, what social media trends resonate with them, and how we can keep up."  Flightpath is offering incentive for users to share their videos with a contest running from December 1 - 31, 2010.  Shoppers whose videos receive the most views will be awarded various gift card prizes.
