Membership in 1World1Book.com is free. Every two months, members vote from amongst three new books on the one book they'd like to read and discuss. These book selections are based on input from local book club leaders worldwide, book critics, and a diverse range of prominent individuals. Members receive exclusive insights on each book from the authors and prominent individuals in arts and entertainment, media, business, and beyond, and they also share their own insights in the 1World1Book.com forums.

Every two months, a different charity is also selected. When members order the book through links on 1World1Book.com, 100% of the club's commissions and also proceeds from the author go to the charity. Members also receive insights about the work of the selected charity to expand their awareness and inspire them to take action through donations, volunteering, and spreading the word to others.

Sean Penn's Haiti Foundation, J/P HRO, is the featured 1World1Book.com charity for November and December 2010. The featured book for November / December 2010 is "Unfinished Business: One Man's Extraordinary Year of Trying to Do the Right Things" by Lee Kravitz, who was fired from his job as editor-in-chief of Parade magazine which prompted him to write the book.

According to founder Brian Vaszily, "Exceptional books still have an unparalleled power to strengthen, enlighten, and motivate individuals - and therefore the society they're a part of - to be and do their best, to thrive despite whatever circumstances they face.

"Unfortunately in today's information-cluttered world," Vaszily continues, "most of the exceptional books published today that can truly change lives go unnoticed by those who need them most. My mission with 1World1Book.com is to change that. Person by person, book by book, and with proceeds and attention going to charities, 1World1Book.com is going to make individual lives and this world a better place."

Everyone who appreciates books is encouraged to join for free now at http://www.1World1Book.com, where they'll also discover more about the book club, the Sean Penn Haiti Foundation, about founder Brian Vaszily, and about "Unfinished Business."
