TRAFFIQ Launches TRAFFIQ Trading Desk

Real-Time Bidding, Trading Desk Capabilities Added to Digital Workflow Platform

NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- TRAFFIQ, the digital media workflow tool for agencies, today announced the launch of its Trading Desk, adding real-time-bidding (RTB) capabilities for registered customers. The addition of RTB in the TRAFFIQ platform will enable agencies and direct marketers to manage guaranteed display buying and real-time audience buying within the same platform. TRAFFIQ Trading Desk gives advertisers the ability to buy into the majority of exchange inventory across the web.

"Agencies are being challenged to bring the most efficiency to their digital practice today, and that means having the tools to effectively manage both guaranteed display buying and real-time bidding," said Nick Pahade, CEO of TRAFFIQ. "We want them to be able to manage both in the same technology platform, and the addition of our RTB technology will directly enable that."

Previously, advertisers were able to use TRAFFIQ's end-to-end digital media platform for online media planning, buying, reporting, ad serving, negotiation and campaign optimization needs. Now, the platform enables digital media planners to manage all of their upfront buying as well as the ability to buy discrete audience segments on a real-time basis through TRAFFIQ's RTB technology, the TRAFFIQ Trading Desk.

"This really levels the playing field for independent agencies," said Chris O'Hara, who leads TRAFFIQ's agency development practice. "We want to democratize access to real-time-bidding by offering agencies a turnkey solution to accessing data-driven audience buying."

The addition of an RTB tool to TRAFFIQ's marketplace creates immediate access to hundreds of millions of unique visitors globally--as well as the ability for TRAFFIQ customers to buy into all of the world's leading ad exchanges. Initially, TRAFFIQ customers will access the TRAFFIQ Trading Desk as a managed service. In the upcoming months, TRAFFIQ will include an embedded suite of RTB tools, enabling advertisers to set up campaigns, acquire inventory, and actively manage and optimize performance.

"As one of the leading technology solutions for independent agencies, TRAFFIQ not only brings a highly sophisticated workflow management tool to the table, but access to demand that few companies are seeing," added Pahade.  "We are excited to start enabling independent shops to have the same real-time-buying capabilities as more resourced agencies, and we see ourselves as a great partner to introduce our capabilities to this important and growing segment of the landscape."
