ElcomSoft Co. Ltd. releases Elcomsoft Phone Password Breaker, a tool to
unlock password-protected backups created by Apple and BlackBerry
smartphones. Adding BlackBerry support, ElcomSoft enables forensic access to
encrypted information stored in both Apple and BlackBerry devices including
messages, email, contacts and organizer data, Web browsing history, voicemail
and email accounts and settings.

"By adding BlackBerry smartphones to the list of supported devices,
ElcomSoft covers the majority of smartphone market", comments Vladimir
Katalov, ElcomSoft CEO. "Elcomsoft Phone Password Breaker is the first
commercial product to unlock password-protected BlackBerry backups, and
remains the only product on the market to recover iPhone backups and decrypt
keychains".

    About Elcomsoft Phone Password Breaker

The tool grants forensic access to protected information stored in a
number of Apple and BlackBerry smartphones by recovering the original
plain-text password and decrypting encrypted information.

Equipped with brute-force and advanced dictionary attacks with a wide
range of permutations, the tool searches up to one million passwords per
second for BlackBerry-created backups. GPU acceleration speeds up the
recovery of Apple backups, engaging automatically if one or more supported
ATI or NVIDIA video cards are installed.

    About BlackBerry Smartphones

In North America, the BlackBerry platform accounts for 39.3 percent of
the market (20.8 percent worldwide). Apple has a market share of 23.8 per
cent. RIM sold 12.1 million BlackBerry units during the second quarter 2010,
a 45 per cent increase over the same quarter last year, and has a subscriber
base of over 50 million users.

    About BlackBerry Data Backups

BlackBerry backups contain email accounts and passwords, call logs,
organizer information and Web browsing history. Access to information stored
in BlackBerry backups is in high demand by forensic customers.
