Reward for Military Service - Dream Wedding Giveaway
DENVER, Sept. 8 -- A Memory Lane Event, Maggiano's, Sheraton DTC, Celestial Bride, Master Jewelers with 30 other Colorado businesses are offering a Dream Wedding Giveaway contest for engaged couples, of which one or both persons are currently serving in the military, as a thank you for service. The Dream Wedding Giveaway is valued close to $60,000 and includes everything from dress, veil, rings, honeymoon and so much more. Many of the sponsors are presenting additional offers to those who enter and don't win and even better offers for the runners' up to the grand prize winner.
The contest entitled, Love Across the Generations, is open to all military personnel desiring to win a dream wedding on President's Day, February 21, 2011 in Denver, Colorado. Selection of the prize winner is based upon a video application to YouTube.com or TroopTube.tv stating the values observed in the marriage of either their grandparents or great grandparents that the couple wants to incorporate in their marriage along with a brief statement as to why they believe they should be awarded the grand prize. If they did not know their grandparents or did not know them well, they can state values they believe to be most important to the success of their marriage. Video length is limited to 5 minutes and is required for an entry to be complete. Entries will be narrowed to the top 5 by major contributors of the contest, and the winner will be voted on the by the public.
Entries are being accepted now through November 30, 2010. Voting begins December 1, 2010 and ends December 14, 2010. On December 15, 2010 the winner and the runner ups will be announced.
