Neiman Marcus Launches Mobile Shopping Site

DALLAS, Aug. 16 -- Neiman Marcus announced today that it has launched an enhanced mobile version of the neimanmarcus.com web site that enables customers to shop from any mobile device.

Neiman Marcus partnered with Usablenet to optimize their existing e-commerce site.  Mobile phone users will automatically be re-directed to the m-commerce site when they type in the standard web site URL, neimanmarcus.com. The full merchandise assortment available on the web is available on the mobile. Customers will also have the ability to access full account management including order history and status, as well as store locations.

"Mobile shopping is an extremely important part of our overall internet retail strategy," said Gerald Barnes, president of Neiman Marcus Direct.  "I am particularly excited about the ease with which our customers can shop neimanmarcus.com from any device no matter where they are."

In conjunction with the launch of the new m-commerce site, Neiman Marcus is offering a "Fashion Anywhere" Sweepstakes. With any purchase on the mobile site, from now until Sept 30, 2010, a customer is automatically entered for a chance to win first class tickets for two to any destination of his or her choice and a $10,000 American Express gift card.
