Private Media Group's Gay Content Division Launches State-of-the-Art VOD Platform - 'Maleflixxx Mobile'
BARCELONA, Spain, Aug. 12 -- Private Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:PRVT) a worldwide leader in premium quality adult entertainment content, today announced that its gay online content division Sureflix Digital Distribution has launched a new mobile VOD platform for its Maleflixxx network of sites. The platform complements Private's current online offering, which forms part of its global content distribution grid.
The new mobile platform, Maleflixxx Mobile, allows consumers to view gay content on all mobile devices, including the iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone and Android handsets. The platform is accessible via www. maleflixxx. tv and from Maleflixxx's network of hundreds of white label websites, which includes Private's gay content brand Man-Size at http://www.man-size.tv. Sureflix's proprietary technology detects which devices are being used to access the site and delivers the interface for a particular device. Users can access their account from any device, experiencing the same functionality.
The platform's easy-to-navigate interface allows users to instantly browse content by category, theme and studio. Broadcasting in video quality, equal to a high speed Internet connection, more than 44,000 scenes from over 200 studios are available. The platform is localized in seven languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian and Japanese.
In addition, a white label version of the mobile platform is available and will be marketed to studios and affiliates worldwide.
Aimed at the lucrative gay market, this is the second mobile VOD platform launched by Private Media Group. In April this year, the Gamelink mobile VOD platform was launched.
