Doom 3 combines visual and audio stimulation to create a totally immersive environment built to scare the crap out of you. It worked well in my case. If you aren't listening to the audio review, you're missing out on the content of the article. In short, <a href="">since the game is $55 in stores</a>, you have to ask yourself if the repetitive gameplay is good enough for your hard earned cash.
